Moon Water

Tonight, we will be blessed with a full moon in the sign of Pisces.  Judging from the social media posts of the last few days, we are all feeling this powerful energy in our own way.  Maybe your dreams have been more intense, or you can actually remember them.  Perhaps you feel awash in emotion and slightly adrift.  We all experience this energy differently based upon how this lunar transit is aspecting the rest of our birth chart.  Regardless, it seems like such a waste not to use this lunar energy for prolonged good.

If you’ve ever studied the work of Masaru Emoto, then you know that water is a super-conductor and stores information and light (which, in quantum physics, are interchangeable).  He extensively studied the consciousness of water, and how the structure of water changes depending on the energy with which it is imbued (thoughts, words, etc).  In fact, in one of his studies, water was taken from the Fujiwara Dam, one of the facilities contained within the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, which suffered a nuclear disaster in 2011, following a flood.  The water was studied at the microscopic level before and after being blessed with a Japanese Shinto prayer.  The results were astonishing.  As you can see below, not only were contaminants mitigated, but the actual structure of the water itself was set right.

Water has been used for centuries to carry benedictions (holy water), baptize, and seal the human soul to a spiritual path (dedication).  Moon water is just an extension of these practices.  It has a host of benefits and can be used in several different spiritual applications.

Water is a feminine element and the most receptive of all of the elements.  As the moon represents Mother in astrology, and controls the tides, it is also closely tied with the Divine Feminine.  Combining the benediction of lunar energy in the powerfully conscious receptivity of water creates an elixir that can be used for a number of things, but is specifically quite powerful in uniting us with our own Divine Feminine.  As this full moon will be in the sign of Pisces which is the collective subconscious, and the void from which we emanate and to which we return, we will be showing you how to use this water in meditation, corporeal self-care and dreams.

Creating moon water is quite easy.  All you need is a container (preferably glass) and the moon (preferably full).  However, there are so many ways to add your own unique flair to your moon water, depending on what you intend to use it for.  Following is my ritual for creating moon water, and tomorrow we will be covering the ways in which we can use it!!

  • Choose your preferred water.

  • Place it in a container (I use a half gallon canning jar).

  • Bless and cleanse the container with burning sage.  Now, sit in a quiet place, positioning the jar of water in front of you, and infuse the water with a specific intention for the next two weeks.  Do this three times, repeating “and so it is” after each time.

  • Place the container of water outside in a clearing and surround it with your crystals (which should also be charged every full moon).

  • Retrieve in the morning.

Tune back in to the Quantum Shyft blog for our next installment covering how to use your newly lunarized water!  In the weeks to come we will also be covering how to create solarized water and its applications.

Tiny shifts, big impacts.
